AfterShokz burst into the sport headphones scene just over a year ago, bringing a breath of fresh innovation to a category that hadn’t experienced revolutionary change in far too long. Our team reimagined the standards of headphones, and created something that completely disregarded the traditional requirement for them: the ears.

AfterShokz delivers a way to tune in to music or a phone call, without tuning out surroundings — it’s all about an open ear experience. In order to ensure ears remain unblocked (by cans) and unplugged (by buds), we use patent-pending bone conduction technology to create vibrations on the cheekbones that sends the sound directly to the inner ears, bypassing the eardrums completely. This unique design, that brings the world a safer and more comfortable headphone, is how AfterShokz has changed the game.

But while change can be exciting, it can also be intimidating. We understand that our headphones — these things that shift focus away from our ears like we’ve been accustomed to all this time — might not be for everyone, but we’re stoked for this opportunity to bring something unique to the masses. So in celebration of bringing a little change to the world of headphones, we’d like to have some fun with a project we’ve creatively tagged #vinebration.
